Tight model Andy its pretty cool, I like the reflection on the blade as well, did u do that with mapping in Max? It could look even better with a larger reflection in the blade

ta m8, its justa quick render no lights, camera or scene yet. blade texture is really simple no crazy mappin or anythin.

-select a free texture slot.
-where is says 'standard' next to the texture name, click that and select 'Raytrace'.
-next to the reflect colour u can apply a map, select the 'falloff' map.

easy as that :D

AK-47... Beautiful! You know, I have a suggestion though. Just an idea, maybe if the background was black and you gave the blade a strong shine to it... Just a thought.
